Irrigation Designer and Manager Job

Responsibilities

• Install new landscape irrigation projects

• Implement small-scale enhancements to existing systems

• Conduct irrigation audits by assessing existing systems and creating ways to run them with greater efficiency and effectiveness.

• Follow the directives of Cultivation and Construction manager

• Maintain and repair various tools

• Organize and maintain inventory, making requests for supplies and equipment as needed

• Organize and maintain an orderly work truck

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must work well with others and be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, methods and techniques.

• Highly motivated

• May be required to live part of the year on-site

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Attention to detail

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Ability to keep track of and report on activity

• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making

• Stamina to preform heavy physical work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Strength and mobility in using a variety of hand and power tools, driving motor vehicles and/or construction equipment, and lifting/moving heavy materials with the use of proper equipment

• Availability for regular standby assignments, potential work that is scheduled for off-hours, and emergency overtime as may be required
