Inventory and Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities

• This position focuses on warehouse management, inventory tracking, quality control of product and managing processing teams

• Working closely with Weighmaster and Field Lead to keep track of daily harvest status

• Detailed record keeping, reporting and controlling inventory

• Fact checking to ensure accuracy of reports received and reconciling differences

• Ensuring temperature and humidity controls to ensure optimal storage environment

• Managing teams of workers to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Line out work at the beginning of each day, evaluate work at the end of the day

• Ensuring compliance with company and/or local and state regulations

• Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by adhering to safety codes

• Ensuring compliance with company and/or local and state regulations

• Implementing Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs)

• Taking part in overall facility cleanliness

• Informing Cultivation Manager if growing environment is out of specification

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and grade marijuana flower products

• Proficient in CA track and trace systems (Metrc) including, but not limited to, tagging, tracking status of plant life cycle, weight and height, removing unviable specimen from Metrc, etc.

• Proficiency in Excel

• Candidate would ideally be able to grow into sales manager role

• Experience in branded product management

• Able to add value to inventory team and systems
