Mendocino Ranch Co. manages around 1,000 acres in the Anderson Valley of Northern California, just 2 1/2 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area. Our lands include mountain top vistas that descend over 1,400 vertical feet into lush redwood groves and year round steelhead streams.
We are an operating ranch with Coastal Redwood and Douglas Fir timber production, cattle, sheep, vegetable crops, cannabis cultivation, and a growing array of employee and partner experiences like disk golf, swimming holes, ancient redwoods, a spectrum of mountain bike trails and a freestyle airbag.
Both the upper and lower ranch were homesteaded by the Clow family dating as far back as 1863. The majority of our lands have only changed hands once since the original homestead application and we intend to carry on this tradition of long range stewardship.
We have a strong conservation ethic and whether we are spending the day building infrastructure, caring for plants, harvesting our sun-grown cannabis or enjoying our trail system, we believe our land brings us together.
